The Ostara festival in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is basically the Easter festival in the game, just paying homage to the holiday’s pagan roots. There’s going to be several activities that you’ll be able to participate in. These include an egg hunt, brawling, helping to decorate Ravensthorpe, drinking, archery, and even a battle against evil spirits. However, it seems that a mistake has squeezed its way in, and causing a lot of confusion. AC Valhalla Ostara Festival Ending Soon 48 Hours Message Error

The message that a lot of people have been getting when starting the Ostara festival in AC Valhalla is that there’s only 48 hours left in the event, that it’s ending soon, and that you have to hurry up finish everything. This is, obviously, an error; the festival should last well into April. In fact, if you go into the list of event quests, you’ll see how much time you actually have. So, feel free to ignore this message and take your sweet time. In the meantime you can take a look at hidden eggs and complete Egg Hunt quest.

AC Valhalla Ostara Festival – How to Start

To start the Ostara Festival in AC Valhalla, all you need to do is to make sure that you’ve downloaded the latest update. Then, start up the game. You’ll get a big ole notification that the festival has started if everything is working as it should. Then, if you’re not already there, go to Ravensthorpe. Assuming that you’ve installed the new update and nothing has gone wrong, you’ll get a brief cutscene, showing you the villagers already enjoying the festivities.

As we’ve said, you’ll be able to participate in a number of potentially fun activities during the Ostara festival. On the one hand, there will be the usual drinking, brawling and archery, like in every festive occasion in AC Valhalla. On the other hand, we have the event-specific stuff. There’s the Egg Hunt, helping Norvid decorate the town, helping Mayda find a new crown for the May Queen, assisting Alvis to protect Ravensthorpe from ghosts.
