Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Halloween Event Dates Revealed

So, when can you expect to enjoy the spooky festivities of Bloody Harvest in Borderlands 3? Well, according to a post on the Borderlands website, and the event trailer below, it’s gonna take place from Thursday, October 24th, to Thursday, December 5th. This is probably the longest Halloween event that I’ve ever heard of. Which makes me worry a bit: what is the grind gonna be like? Is the length of the event just for kicks, or because it’s gonna be very grindy? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

But enough doom and gloom, what can you expect from this event? Well, as we’ve covered before, the whole thing begins at Sanctuary III, at the new vendor Maurice. So, yeah, you’ll have to push through the game’s main story until you reach Sanctuary III to access Bloody Harvest. Maurice will give you a repeatable mission, which will send you to kill Haunted enemies. These enemies drop Hecktoplasm, and you’ll need those to open the portal to Heck, where the event takes place. Yes, those are the real names, because Gearbox just can’t help themselves when it comes to getting on my nerves.

Once you do make it to Bloody Harvest, the real fun begins. There’ll be new enemies to battle, even including a whole new spooky boss. When it comes to unlockable items, you’ll be able to get a new weapon skin, a weapon trinket, a new legendary weapon, a shield mod, a grenade mod, and Vault Hunter skins. So, yeah, there’s quite a bit of stuff to do. And you’ll have a ton of time to do it. Have at it.
