How to fix negative guardian tokens & rank?

Thankfully, your rewards and skills will still work. Any unlocks you’ve invested guardian tokens into will still work, so you won’t actually lose anything palpable. It will slow down your progress, though, but since you had a major bump right before the glitch, it kind of evens out. It seems like the game rewards you with too many ranks, then pushes you into negative point territory to balance things out. A lot of players reported getting back their tokens after playing a while and actually earning the ranks they unfairly received.

Guardian rank revert when offline

A number of people have reported getting their guardian rank reverted after playing offline, which was followed with a negative number of guardian tokens. This might be a separate issue, we’re not sure. The players who were affected reported all of the ranks they gained while playing offline disappearing after going back online.

Disabling cloud saves could help stop this from happening in the future. Other than that, what seems to help is going back offline, earning a full rank, then going online again. If you know of another solution, feel free to mention it in the comments, and we’ll include it in the guide.
