Destiny 2 Beta Infinite Super Ability Glitch Discovered

Players have discovered a glitch in the Destiny 2 beta, which allows them to have infinite super abilites. It’s actually an old bug from the previous game, which somehow got carried over. It requires a vehicle to work, so you’ll only be able to use it on the Inverted Spire strike while in the beta. Still, it’s better than nothing, and it’s a great opportunity to get acquainted with the new supers.

In order to exploit the glitch, you’ll have to load up the Inverted Spire strike. Once you’re on Nessus, stay in the starting area and keep killing the low level enemies. After a while, the game will send reinforcements in the form of pike riders (pikes are like sparrows, but made by the Vex). Once you’ve cleared them, you will be able to use their hover bikes.

Now here comes the hard part – use your super and climb on the bike almost at the same time. If you’ve timed it right, you will climb the vehicle with your super active. All you have to do then is open your inventory, equip a different kinetic weapon, then switch back to the old one. With a little luck, you’ll end up with a constant super ability, which will let you learn the ins and outs of the new skill without having to wait for the cooldown.

Since the bug was already fixed in the previous game, we suspect it won’t survive until the launch of Destiny 2 in early September. However, you might as well take advantage of it in the beta, while you can, as it’s quite useful. If you haven’t preordered, you’ll be able to access the beta tomorrow, on July 21st. It will end on July 23rd, so you’ll still have a couple of days.
