Since we’re only about two months away from the launch of Destiny 2 (at least on the consoles), it only makes sense that the team behind the game will be dropping hints and teasing us with what we can expect from it. The game’s director, Luke Smith, recently sat down with Mashable and talked a little bit about raids.

For the majority of the interview, he recounted his thoughts about the raids from the original Destiny. However, when asked about the first raid that we can expect in Destiny 2, he suddenly became much more secretive. Here’s what he had to say about “Raid 5”, which is presumably the code-name they’re using for it:

Raid 5, when we looked at it, it was about building a place you believe is real. That was our priority.

According to the interviewer Adam Rosenberg, Luke Smith started giggling excitedly. Apparently, he seems pretty excited about what the team is preparing for Destiny 2. He added:

A place that you believe could exist. It’s unlike anything we’ve done. The team is incredibly talented; it is a joy to see them work.

So, it seems that Destiny fans have a lot to look forward to. Destiny 2 is coming out worldwide on September 6th, at least on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC release is coming much later, on October 24th. As for the Destiny 2 Beta, it starts on July 18th on the PS4 and July 19th on the Xbox One for those that preorder the game. It will open on July 21st for every other console owner, while the PC Beta will take place in late August.
