How to Defeat Emperor Calus Boss in Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid?

In order to defeat Emperor Calus, the first step is to shoot the chalice he’s holding. Once you do that, enemies will start spawning and you’ll have to fight them all off. Take note of the four platforms with symbols, they’ll be important later. After a while, the Emperor will transport you all into an alternate dimension, where you’ll only see his gross, purple head. There are also three orbs. The team will have to split here. Three have to grab the orbs and return to the boss room; three have to stay in the alternate dimension.

Now, here’s the Destiny 2 Emperor Calus strategy. Communication will be key. Back in the Leviathan boss room, the Guardians will see several Psions pop up. Do not harm them when they appear. Meanwhile, the three Guardians in the alternate universe will see a symbol on the Emperors forehead. Each player must call out which symbol they see, one by one. The Guardians in the throne room must then kill the Psion that bears the remaining symbol that wasn’t called out. Do not touch those whose symbols were called out. If you complete this, Emperor Calus will draw the players in the alternate dimension closer. Keep killing adds as this is happening. Keep this cycle going until the next phase.

When the Guardians come near the head enough, the Emperor will start spewing Void skulls at them. If you shoot them, you’ll get some damage buffs that stack, but you can also dodge them. After a short while, more orbs will appear, so grab them and teleport back into the boss room. Everybody stand together on one of the four platforms and do DPS to the boss. Aim for the head, and the red area in his chest, when it opens up. When he aims at you, run over to the next platform, and so on. After that, the whole cycle starts over.

Once he’s near death, Calus will start charging up for one last attack and start glowing. Shoot him with everything you’ve got, all the power ammo and supers you have, until he drops dead.
