How to get Destiny 2 Gjallarhorn Catalyst
Destiny 2 Gjallarhorn Catalyst is one of the new perks that players can get in the latest Bungie 30th Anniversary event. This item is part of the paid content, and can be obtained only in the new dungeon Grasp of Avarice. Unfortunately, it’s not a random drop from mobs, but an item well hidden behind a search after three chests. In this guide we’ll show you where to find the chests and what you have to do before you can open each chest.
How to get Destiny 2 Gjallarhorn Catalyst
As we already mentioned Gjallarhorn Catalyst Perk can be collected from a chest in the new dungeon Grasp of Avarice, but you’ll have to find and open three chests before it appears in the third one. Also, it is important to know that you can get this perk only after obtaining Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher, so no perk on your first run. In order to open each chest you’ll need Burdened by Riches debuff that lasts 30 seconds. You can get this debuff by defeating Randal the Vandals with yellow bar and collecting their engrams.
#1 chest is near the entrance of the loot cave. As you jump on the next platform, you’ll see the first chest on the top of the metal cage.
#2 chest is before the first boss. After the dark room with boxes, when you go through the vent you will enter a large room. Jump down to the right, the second chest is on a little ledge.
#3 chest is in the Fallen Sheild Area on top of the middle island building.
In order to get the Gjallarhorn Catalyst you can complete the dungeon on either master or normal mode. All players have to open the last chest themselves in order to get the catalyst.
