Means to an End & Interference are quests in Destiny 2. They’re part of the Season of Arrivals main story, and completing one is a requirement for the other. Some players are having trouble with them – Means to an End keeps showing up as available even after completion, and it’s stopping some from starting Interference. Claim the weekly quest from the Recaster bug

A number of players have reported having the Recaster blink on the map, and the game sending them there to claim a weekly quest, only to be greeted by nothing when they arrive. Some say waiting a bit at the Tower helps, others claim restarting the game was what solved it for them. Either way, it’s probably going to be patched with a hotfix soon enough.

Can’t start Interference after finishing Means to An End

Some have complained being unable to start the Interference mission from the map. A message tells them they need to finish Means to an End first, even after they’ve already completed it. Most don’t have any trouble completing the mission as part of the quest, but playing it on its own afterwards doesn’t work. It’s either something that can only be done once a week, or it’s a glitch. Either way, patience is the only solution – if it’s the former, we’ll know for sure in a week. If it’s the latter, the developers will probably fix it before that.

If you experience a server error and get disconnected during Interference, it might even wipe your progress on the whole mission. It’s more than a bit frustrating, but there’s nothing you can do about it, apart from avoiding the game until next week – by then, all the kinks should be ironed out.
