Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Season of Dawn Trailer Released
Bungie have released a new trailer for Season of Dawn, the upcoming season of Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. It serves two roles, basically; one is to show off all the new stuff coming in the season, such as events, weapons, and so one, and the second thing is to introduce the story of Season of Dawn. Suffice it to say, we’re going to be revisiting Mercury, and discovering more about Saint-14 and his fate.
So, what can you expect when the Season of Dawn launches next week? Well, you’ll be returning to Mercury. Apparently, time shattered in some fashion after you defeated the Undying Mind, and it’s fractured on Mercury as well. And, apparently, the Red Legion and a council of Cabal Psion Flayers want to use this in order to change history and the result of the Red War. Needless to say, you’re gonna have to stop them.
As for the different activities and other stuff, the crux of the Season of Dawn is going to be the Sundail. It’s an activity for six players which will reward season pass holders with weapons inspired by Saint-14. Also, there’s going to be a new Artifact, called Lantern of Osiris, as well as the Symmetry Exotic scout rifle that you can earn by working your way through the season ranks. And, of course, there is the story of the season, which seems to center around Saint-14, the mysterious Titan that we first got to see way back in the Curse of Osiris DLC.
