Elden Ring Erdtree Sanctuary Hanging Item

The Elden Ring Erdtree Sanctuary hanging item is one of the trickier pieces of loot to get. However, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t grab it, especially if you’re playing a magic-oriented build, and/or have taken an interest in Corhyn’s journey. This is the Golden Order Principia, after all. With all of that said, let’s see how to get the Erdtree Sanctuary hanging item.

How to Get Erdtree Sanctuary Hanging Item Elden Ring

To get the Erdtree Sanctuary hanging loot item in Elden Ring, which is actually the Golden Order Principia, let’s start at the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace. From there, go onto the balcony to the east and go north. You’ll see a place where you can hop onto the giant tree branch leading back into the bonfire chamber and up. When you reach the top, you’ll find yourself on a wooden balcony of sorts. Head out the door to the north, and as soon as you step outside, drop onto the small platform to the west. You’ll see a roof you can jump onto, and at the top of that roof, you’ll see a window you can jump into. After you’ve done that, go left and onto another branch. Follow it to the right, and there you go. It might seem like you can’t reach it, but you can. When you get close enough, you’ll get the button prompt.

And that’s how to get the Elden Ring hanging item loot above Erdtree Sanctuary, aka the Golden Order Principia. Now, what is this item, actually? It’s a book that you can take to a number of NPCs to unlock new Incantations. Any priest will do, including my personal favorite, Miriel, Pastor of Vows. However, if you’re focusing on furthering Corhyn’s quest, you need to take the book to him in order to unlock the Law of Regression emote. I’m not gonna reveal anything else about that here; if you want more info on the subject, check out our Elden Ring Corhyn Locations guide.

Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
