Network Status Failed Error in Elden Ring

The Network Status Failed error in Elden Ring is currently giving players a lot of trouble, as we’ve said up top. Naturally, every single one of you that has had this issue wants to know what they can do about it. Well, as far as we know, not much. Actually, there’s nothing you can do, barring checking your network connection to see whether the problem is on your end. See, you’re getting this error because there are thousands upon thousands of players trying to get into Elden Ring simultaneously. The servers simply can’t take it. Over the next couple of days, as the developers work on the servers and player demand starts to level out, the problem is likely to solve itself.

That’s about all there is to know about the Elden Ring Network Status Failed error, as far as I’m aware. If that isn’t the case, feel free to correct me in the comments. However, to the best of my knowledge, there’s nothing you can do about this, aside from be patient and keep trying to access the game. Eventually, you’ll manage to break through. Oh, and double-check your connection, just in case. When you do manage to get in, that doesn’t mean the errors will necessarily stop. That’s why we’ve written a number of other guides that address other issues. For example we have articles like How to Fix Low FPS & Improve Performance, Screen Tearing Fix, and Invisible Enemies Bug Fix.

Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
