Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro Bundle Preorders Available
Sony has announced the Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro bundle. It’s coming out on the same date as the game itself, on October 26th, and it will cost you $399.99. The bundle includes the Jet Black 1TB PlayStation 4 Pro, one DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a copy of red Dead Redemption 2 on Blu-ray.
Sony just isn’t letting go on the different themed PlayStations and bundles. The latest in the bunch is going to be the Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro bundle, announced recently on PlayStation Blog. It’s going to be available all across the US and Canada, for $399.99 (MSRP) / $499.99 CAD (MSRP). The bundle is already available for preorder already, and it will launch along with Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th. I have to admit, this is quite the strange bundle, at least, on the surface. If you sit down and give it a think, it does become much clearer what they’re doing.
The bundle itself really isn’t much to look at. There have been other PS4 bundles that were much more expansive than this. By that I mean, you get a special, limited-edition PS4 Pro and controller, with special ornaments and such. This isn’t the case at all with Red Dead Redemption 2. The bungle contains only the game on Blu-ray, a 1TB Jet Black PS4 Pro system, and one DualShock 4 wireless controller. That’s about the most basic a bundle you can get.
And, when you think about it, that’s kinda all they need. Red Dead Redemption 2 is only coming out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So, if a PC gamer is planning to cave into the pressure and purchase a console for RDR 2, then what better option than a PS4 Pro bundle? Especially if you own a 4K HD TV to get the full Pro experience.
