Red Dead Redemption 2 Catfish Jacksons Homestead Stash Location

Catfish Jacksons Homestead Stash in RDR2 is one of several stashes you can find in the game. This Red Dead Redemption 2 homestead stash is one of the easiest ones to get, but it’s still worth it. There’s a rifle in it for you, and other valuables, plus a stash of $50. And, all homestead stashes, including Catfish Jacksons, go towards getting the Breaking and Entering achievement / trophy. So, here’s our Red Dead Redemption 2 Catfish Jacksons Homestead Stash Location to show where to find and how to get the stash.

Where to Find Catfish Jacksons in RDR2?

To find Catfish Jackson’s house in Red Dead Redemption 2, you need to go way to the south of Lemoyne. You can start in the town of Rhodes, and ride out south. Keep going south after you reach Braithwaite Manor, and you’re gonna come across the Catfish Jacksons abode. The house is very near the bank of the Lannahechee River. It’s a nice, red house; nicer than most of the houses that you run into outside of major settlements. Crying shame what you have to do to get the stash, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

Now, it’s important to note here that there are several stages to Catfish Johnsons house, depending on when you visit them. We ran into the father and son arguing. However, if you get there later, you might find the father passed out in the front of the house, and the sound will be in his room. Then, you’ll find the father alone and pissed off. Lastly, the son will be alone. But, again, we got there nice and early.

Catfish Jacksons RDR2 Homestead Stash Location

The homestead stash at Catfish Jacksons in Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the fireplace, in the chimney. We found this out in the most cold-blooded way we possibly could. Basically, we went right through the front door, and into the room where the father and son were sitting. The father pulled the gun at Arthur, so we of course shot him dead. We then threatened the poor son a gunpoint until he told us where the stash was, while he was pitifully crying for his father. Yaaay. Anyway, don’t forget to loot the rest of the house. There’s a shotgun above the fireplace, a chest under the crawlspace, and stuff in the son’s room.

Catfish Jacksons is not the only homestead stash in Red Dead Redemption 2; there’s seven of them in total. We’ve covered most of them, including Lonnie’s Shack Homestead Stash Location, Aberdeen Pig Farm Location – Drink or Leave, and Watson’s Cabin Location & Solution.

I’m wondering that too I killed the son and now I don’t see any shotgun and it won’t let me search the fireplace

You can just punch the old man and he faints. You have to leave the son alive. If you threaten him while he’s hiding under his bed, he reveals the location of the $50 stash. After you leave his room, the fire will have gone out making it possible to search the chimney. The chimney is accessible once you take the double barrel shotgun down from its mantelpiece mount.

You could have walked in and knocked Dad out. No need to kill anyone in this one.
