VIP reward weapons are special guns in Borderlands 3. They can be obtained by collecting VIP points. You get these by redeeming codes found outside the game and doing stuff on social media. Once you’ve accrued enough VIP points, you’ll be able to exchange them for the VIP reward weapons – several kinds of Maliwan, Dahl and Vladof. A lot of people are complaining about being unable to find them, even though they’ve collected more than enough points. This guide is meant to help anyone with the same issue, by showing where to find VIP reward weapons in Borderlands 3.
How to get VIP reward weapons?
First of all, you’ll need 4000 points for each weapon. Here’s a list of VIP codes that should help bump up your score. When you have at least four thousand points, you should go to the Vault Insider Program site and use them to redeem a weapon you like.
This is where people start having problems. Where do the weapons go after you’ve redeemed them? First of all, you’ll need to be the appropriate level before they show up. It’s 10 for most, and 12 for the Maliwan. Once you’ve satisfied the level requirements, the weapons will literally be mailed to you. Open up the menu, go to social and check the mail tab. There should be an envelope with your weapon of choice.
If it still isn’t showing up after all this, it might be time to contact Gearbox’ support team. They will be adding more VIP rewards as time goes by, but old ones are going to stay put. Hopefully they also add more ways to earn VIP points, or the budget might get extremely tight. There’s only so much you can do at this point, but except new VIP codes to roll out continuously – just like the old games did with shift codes.
