The second in the series of three Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris live streams has ended. During the event, the developers gave us more details about the Curse of Osiris DLC, including the public event and more. Also, more information started coming out aside from the live stream. So, we’re getting a pretty good overall idea of what our adventures on Mercury will be like.

Among many other features of Mercury and Curse of Osiris will have, we now know about the fast travel options that will be on offer. The first method are the jump pads that fling you around the patrol area. They appear to pop up more or less randomly, and help you zoom around the map with minimal effort. Of course, you’re under no obligation to actually use these, but they do make your journey significantly shorter. This will especially come in handy after you’ve completed everything you’ve wanted in the patrol zone and don’t wanna waste your time.

The other fast travel method in the Curse of Osiris DLC is the Interceptor, which Destiny fans will already be familiar with. If you’re new to the concept, though, here’s a quick introduction. The Interceptors are a vehicle in the Destiny universe. They are pretty clunky and not horribly fast, but then again, that’s not their purpose. Their selling point is that they work quite beautifully when it comes to ramming into enemies. So yeah, the Interceptors are less graceful horses and much more angry rhinos. They may be slow, and they’re not agile, but they hurt, a lot.
