Destiny 2: Forsaken Character Booster - Where to find Spark of Light

The location of the character booster in Destiny 2 Forsaken turned out to be less obvious than I thought. At first, I thought it would be the same as it was with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King expansion, where you had to use the booster from your inventory. Unfortunately, this time Bungie made a lot of changes, and we weren’t prepared for that. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find character booster in Destiny 2 Forsaken.

Where to find Destiny 2: Forsaken character booster

The original game had an item called the Spark of Light. The purpose of this item was to boost one of your characters to the existing level cap. Players could find this item in their inventory. In the first game, once you used a Spark of Light it would level up your character, but it wouldn’t complete all the activities.

This time Bungie made a few changes. The character booster is now available at the character select screen! It’s a purple icon that shows up to the right of the character’s name. If all your characters are maxed out, you’ll have to make a new character and then the level boost option will pop up on character selection screen. Once you use it, it will also automatically complete all the story content and activities needed to boost your character to the previous level cap. But beware, if you haven’t completed Osiris and Warmind, the triumphs for them will not be completed. As you probably know, Destiny 2 Forsaken comes with a single boost, but you’ll be able to buy more if you want to magically level up several characters.
