How to get preorder bonus items in Destiny 2 Forsaken?

First of all, make sure you’ve downloaded the item pack. In some stores, it comes with the Forsaken update. In others, it’s listed as Cayde’s Exotic Stash. Once you’re sure you’ve installed your goodies, you can start the game.

You won’t be able to get the items right away. Instead, you’ll first have to finish the Forsaken campaign. That means playing through all the story missions. Once you’re done with that, you’ll need to talk to Amanda Holliday, the lady in charge of the ships. You’ll find her in the Tower Hangar. Talk to her, and she’ll give you everything from the stash.

If your inventory is too stuffed to receive the goodies, they’ll be transported to the Postmaster, like everything else does. Bungie warns that “loss of items” may happen if you don’t have enough space for them in your backpack or at the Postmaster. So better make sure you do, yeah? Don’t wanna waste those pretty new cosmetics just because your pockets were full.

It’s OK to be a bit salty that you have to wait to get them, too. It’s not like they are going to influence the difficulty curve or affect your experience in any way. They could’ve just given them out as soon as [REDACTED] died.
