Destiny 2 PC Beta Social Space Opening Date and Time Revealed

Players of the Destiny 2 PC beta will get the chance to take a tour of the game’s social space, The Farm, very soon. According to a tweet from the official Bungie Twitter, The Farm will be open on August 30th, from 5 PM to 7 PM Pacific Time, which is 8 PM to 11 PM Easter Time. During this time frame, Guardians on the PC will have a chance to lounge around the luscious, peaceful, green environment of the farm and just kinda hang out. Ad, well, that’s pretty much all they’ll be able to do.

Unfortunately for players, like in the console beta, The Farm will be empty, save for the other players. There will be no vendors; this is solely a test to see how many players they can cram in there. Or, as the tweet puts it: “The Vendors have the day off.” Once the full game launches, though, The Farm will become a bustling hub. You’ll be able to buy stuff, take quests, decrypt engrams (for more news on those, check out our Destiny 2 Engrams Decrypting Checks Automatically Your Best Gear Level article), or just chill with other Guardians. It’ll be a safe, green place for you to hang around in between saving the Light.

Destiny 2 is launching for the PC on October 24th, 2017. Console owners, on the other hand, will get their hands on the game way earlier, on September 6th.
