Destiny 2 Preorder & Retailer Physical Bonuses Listed
Destiny 2 preorder and retailer physical bonuses have been revealed some time ago, but it’s honestly a bit of a mess. Especially when it comes to the little physical stuff that you’ll be able to get from retailers. As of now, there’s no real way to know which retailer will be offering which bonus, but at least the preorder bonuses are pretty straight-forward.
Destiny 2 Digital Preorder Bonuses
All digital preorder bonuses for Destiny 2 are pretty much the same across all three platforms. According to VG247, every preorder will feature the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle. Preordering via Xbox Live, PSN and Battle.net will grant you the Kill-Tracker Ghost (which sounds like a very useful gadget), and the Salute emote.
You just might be able to pick up the salute emote or the special Ghost if you buy your copy from a retailer, not even necessarily for preordering, but just as a purchase bonus. Physical Retail Bonuses for Destiny 2
In order to find out which physical bonuses you’ll be able to pick up with Destiny 2 at your big retailer of choice, you’ll unfortunately have to wait and see. The items that they’ll have in stock will vary, depending on what kind of agreement they have with Activision. Among the stuff you might have the chance to purchase are vinyl figurines of Zavala, Cayde-6, and a Ghost, a steelbook case (which is part of the package if you buy Destiny 2 Limited or Collector’s Edition), and so on.
Like with the Ghost / Salute emote, these physical items might be available not just as preorder, but as purchase bonuses or bundles. You’ll have to ask at your chosen retailer. The items will likely also be sold separately. If you don’t get your hands on them when buying the game, just buy them on their own.
