With the Dawning event underway in Destiny 2, there are many holiday-themed activities you can engage in. One of these is baking cookies and giving them to NPCs. And, of course, to be able to bake these cookies, you will need the right ingredients. For several of these, the recipe calls for an ingredient known as Sharp Flavor. But what do you need to do to get this ingredient? In this Sharp Flavor Destiny 2 Dawning guide, we will explain everything you need to know about acquiring Sharp Flavor in Destiny 2.
How to Get Sharp Flavor Destiny 2
Every ingredient has a specific way to get it. For example, to get Balanced Flavors, you will need to take out enemies with rifles, while the Null Taste requires that you land the killing blow with Void attacks. Sharp Flavor is no different. To get the Sharp Flavor in Destiny 2, what you need to do is to dispatch enemies using the Sword. However, the Sharp Flavor isn’t a guaranteed drop. This means that you may need to take out quite a few enemies while using the sword in order to farm enough Sharp Flavor.
As such, the best strategy is to use a sword that has the Vortex Flame, so that you can get in some AoE kills. Also, you should look for a place that has plenty of enemies that you can take out quickly. The Dares of Eternity is perfect for this. In any case, getting enough of this ingredient is only a matter of time. When you have enough of it, go back to the Holiday Oven. You can use the Sharp Flavor in two recipes. These are the Vanilla Blades and the Ascendant Apple Tart. The Vanilla Blades are made with x1 Cabal Oil, x1 Sharp Flavor, and x15 Essence of Dawning. And the Ascendant Apple Tart requires x1 Taken Butter, x1 Sharp Flavor, and x15 Essence of Dawning.
