Can’t play Destiny 2 DLC

Most of the people who can’t start Warmind seem to be Xbox users. Digging deeper into the issues reveals many of them are using the console’s game sharing feature. This allows users to share games across several consoles in the same household. This way, several memebers of a family can play the same stuff on their respective consoles without actually buying more than one copy. The ones that can’t access the game seem to be owners of secondary accounts – children, siblings or roomates of people who have bought the game (and the season pass).

There’s no solution that doesn’t involve Bungie. It’s most probably an oversight, and those affected will just have to wait for the techs to fix it. A portion of the fanbase think Bungie barred access to the DLC on purpose, but we find this to be highly unlikely – the base game and the Curse of Osiris, the previous expansion, are both available for game sharing. We know it sucks not being able to play the DLC at launch, but just give it a few hours, and it’ll probably be sorted out.
