The Huckleberry

destiny 2 warmind huckleberry

The Huckleberry is an exotic submachine gun that does kinetic damage. It comes with the Ride The Bull intrinsic perk, which increases the rate of fire and recoil while you’re holding down the trigger, while also reloading a portion of the magazine when you kill someone with it. This means it’s most useful in short bursts at longer distances, and longer barrages up close. Its trait is called Rampage, and it boosts damage when you score a kill, up to three times the original output.

Polaris Lance

destiny 2 polaris lance exotic weapon

The Polaris Lance is an exotic scout rifle for the energy weapon slot. It has the Perfect Fifth perk, which allows precision hits to return ammo. After four such hits, the weapon loads a solar explosive round for the next shot. It also has the Zen Moment trait, which increases the gun’s stability as you do damage with it.

Sleeper Simulant

destiny 2 sleeper simulant

You might remember this one from way back when. Fondly, even. It’s an exotic linear fusion rifle, a power weapon that fires a beam that penetrates enemies and bounces off hard surfaces. The intrinsic perk, Dornröschen, is in charge of that. The Moving Target trait gives you more speed and better target acquisition if you’re moving while aiming down sights.

SUROS Regime

destiny 2 suros regime

Another revenant, the Suros Regime was a fan favorite in the previous game. Now it’s back with a vengeance. It has the SUROS Legacy perk, which makes the second half of a magazine do extra damage, with a chance to heal you when you score kills with it. The Spinning Up trait increases the rate of fire when you hold down the trigger long enough.

Worldline Zero

destiny 2 warmind worldline zero

We’ve already mentioned the Worldline Zero. It’s the game’s first exotic sword. It has the Tesseract perk, which performs a Tesseract, whatever that may be, if you press a button after sprinting for a short while. The Tireless Blade trait will give you back sword ammo when you kill people with this blade.

Armamentarium

destiny 2 armamentarium exotic armor

This exotic chest piece for the Titan starts off with the And Another Thing intrinsic perk, which lets you have another grenade charge. It is decorated with two cool grenades hanging off the front plate.

Eternal Warrior

destiny 2 eternal warrior exotic helmet

The Eternal Warrior is an exotic Titan helmet. It’s a sci-fi rendition of the helmets soldiers of ancient Rome wore, and it looks amazing. It has the Resolute perk, which grants you an overshield when you activate the Fists of Havoc. This means you’ll probably want to play the Striker subclass when wearing it.

Ashen Wake

destiny 2 ashen wake gauntlets

The Ashen Wake is a pair of gauntlets for the Titan. They come with a nifty quote from Aodh, Second Empyreal Magistrate of the Sunbreaker, and the Bring The Heat intrinsic perk. It changes the way fusion grenades work, by making them explode on impact and increasing their speed. Your enemies won’t see that one coming, especialy in PVP.

Wormgod Caress

destiny 2 wormgod caress

The Wormgod Caress is a pair of Titan arm armor. Armarmor. They’re pretty Zerglike, and they have the Burning Fists perk, which doesn’t sound very Zerglike. It makes melee kills increase your melee damage for a while. Kill streaks will prolongue the duration, and increase the intensity of the effect.

Ophidia Spathe

destiny 2 ophidia spathe exotic armor

Ophidia Spathe is a chest piece for the Hunter. It’s adorned with two coiling serpents, which is not very nice and paints Hunters in a bad light. It comes with the Scissor Fingers perk, which gives you two knives per charge. That part is definitely nice.

Wormhusk Crown

destiny 2 wormhusk crown helmet

The Wormhusk Crown is the new exotic helmet for the Hunter. It’s a piece of carapace, probably from a giant worm that lives on a sandy planet somewhere. The spice melange it’s still secreting is probably responsible for the Burning Souls intrinsic perk, which gives you health regeneration after you dodge. If it’s already active, dodging gives you it a boost.

Sealed Ahamkara Grasps

destiny 2 sealed ahamkara grasps

The grasps are this season’s Hunter gloves. They look more like they’d fit a Titan, if we’re honest, but that’s okay. We’re inclusive here. They come with the Nightmare Fuel perk, which sounds more cool than it actually is – it reloads your currently equipped weapon when you do melee damage. Okay, that’s pretty cool actually, forget we said anything.

FR0ST-EE5

destiny 2 fr0st-ee5

If your first though after reading this jumbled mess is “Something with a name this stupid has to be Hunter gear”, well, you’re right. It’s a pair of pants/boots for the discerning edgelord. Their perk is called Rapid Cooldown, and it increases the regen rate for grenades, melee and dodge while you sprint. It also makes dodging increase your sprint speed. I hope that’s worth having all the other kids laught at you for your off-brand Frostees.

Sanguine Alchemy

destiny 2 sanguine alchemy exotic armor

The Sanguine Alchemy is a chest piece for the Warlock. It has a heavy “Blade meets Torquemada” vibe to it. Its intrinsic perk is called Heightened Sense, which is what every good inquisitor needs. It enhances your radar when you stand in a Rift, marking high priority targets for both you and your allies.

Apotheosis Veil

destiny 2 apotheosis veil

Continuing on with the mashup metaphor, the Apotheosis Veil would be “Daft Punk meets Jules Verne”. This Warlock helmet has the Insatiable perk, one that instantly refills your health, melee, grenade and Rift charges when you trigger your super ability. It also makes allies in the vicinity regenerate these charges faster.

Verity’s Brow

destiny 2 verity's brow helmet

Now this is just plain wrong. This Warlock helmet looks like someone skinned Groot and used his face as a mask. At least it has the Forth Magic perk, which boosts grenade regeneration for your and your buddies when you score a kill with an energy weapon.

Claws of Ahamkara

destiny 2 claws of ahamkara

The last one is a pair of gloves for the Warlock. The Claws of Ahamkara are of avian origin, which you can tell both by the name and the excess of feathers adorning them. They have a perk called The Whispers, which gives the guardian an additional melee charge.
