This week’s Destiny 2 Nightfall, from October 3rd to October 10th, is called Savathun’s Song. You’ll be diving into Arcology, which is crawling with the Hive, and looking for missing fireteams. There are two modifiers this week: Momentum (health and shield regeneration disabled when standing still, regenerates faster while sprinting) and Timewarp: Anomalies (destroy the anomalies to extend the mission timer). You can also complete three challenges: the usual Speed of Dark and Unbroken, and The Best Defense (before defeating Savathun’s Song, shoot down 15 of its projectiles).

As far as the other new activities go, the new flashpoint is in the EDZ this week. It can earn you some pretty sweet gear, as usual, and don’t forget to pick up Cayde’s treasure maps while you’re at it. Also, according to the thread on the Destiny 2 subreddit, there are three meditations you can pick up. There’s 1AU, Unbroken, and Larceny. The milestones have reset, so you can do them again. Head over to Shaxx to get the Crucible Call to Arms milestone, and so on. Finally, the Eververse has a bunch of cosmetics, emotes, and other stuff on offer, if you have the Bright Dust. Or real-life money you want to spend. The reset also marks the ending of the first Faction Rally. Bungie will reveal the winner later in the day.

The Destiny 2 servers will be going down on October 3rd for maintenance, starting on 8 AM Pacific Time and ending at 12 PM Pacific Time. Whatever you have planned in the game, make sure you organize your activities accordingly.
