Where to Sell Pelts in Red Dead Redemption 2?

To sell RDR2 pelts, you’ll have to find the trapper. As it turns out, the general store owners will make it very clear that they have no interest in buying anything with fur or blood on it. The trapper, on the other hand, will buy any chunk of animal you bring him, and that includes pelts, of all qualities. Now, you can run into the trapper in several locations in the wild. He also has a permanent store in east Saint Denis, so you can always reliably find him there, once you unlock the location during Chapter 4 of RDR2. His locations are marked as a bear paw print on the map. Approach the trapper, hit L2 when the game prompts you, and hit Right on the D-pad to sell stuff.

What’s important to mention here is that you don’t necessarily have to take every single Red Dead Redemption 2 pelt to the trapper one by one. Instead, you can just lead your horse as close as possible to the trapper’s stall. That way, when you go into the shop screen, you’ll be able to sell the pelts that you have stored in your horse’s inventory directly. You really don’t want to have to take each pelt off individually, take it to the store, sell it, go back for another pelt, you get the idea. Incidentally, you’ll recognize the trapper fairly easily. He’s a grimy, grizzled guy with a long beard and mud-yellow clothes, with a blue shirt underneath.
