There is NO character transfer available currently from your Red Dead Online PS4 and XBOX accounts onto PC. There isn’t gonna be crossplay, so one assumes that Rockstar have decided not to allow transfer of your character in Red Dead Online to PC from PS4 and Xbox in order to insure a level playing field for all. Of course, I’m sure that this is gonna anger a ton of people. Unfortunately, there’s nothing to be done when it comes to transferring your Red Dead Online character to PC.

Can You Transfer Your Online Character to PC from Console in Red Dead Redemption 2?

The short and sad answer is: no, you can’t. There’s no option to transfer your online character from Red Dead Online on PlayStation 4 and / or Xbox One to PC. Everybody has to start from square one. I’m not sure why Rockstar have decided to do this. It could be in order to have a level playing field on PC, since the developers have no plans to introduce cross-play to Red Dead Online. Then again, they let you transfer characters in GTA V, so who knows. Bottom line, you cannot transfer your Red Dead Online from PS4 / Xbox One to PC.

Now, needless to say, this is gonna annoy a whole bunch of people. Those of you that were looking forward to playing with friends that main consoles, for example. But, more than anybody, I feel like this is gonna tick off those of you that play both on consoles and on PC. You people have spent the better part of a year building up your character in Red Dead Online, grinding Gold and whatnot. To have it taken away like this is gonna suck. Wish I didn’t have to break the news, but there you have it.
