Red Dead Online & GTA Online Updates Announced
Rockstar have announced that they’re planning to release new content for both Red Dead Online and GTA Online this summer, as well as later on in the year. They have provided a bit more details for the Red Dead update, which is coming out this week. Considering how starved for new content that community has been, it’s really high time to give them something. While they don’t reveal much about GTA Online, there’s a lot to look forward to down the pipeline.
So, first off, what’s on the way for Red Dead Online? According to the announcement, you can expect “a new Frontier Pursuit that will introduce players to the secrets of naturalism as part of an all-new Role, plus a new Outlaw Pass, tons of community-requested features and fixes.” This update is coming out on July 28th, so do whatever you need to do to prepare. Also, there’s going to be “much more to play and discover in the months to come.” So, there you have it, people; Red Dead Online is officially not quite dead yet.
When it comes to GTA Online, all the post really mentions for this summer is an update which will offer “a fun mix of diverse new content from the game’s massive array of experiences to enjoy.” That’s really not saying much, but we’ll keep you posted when more info becomes available.
Lastly, the article mentions further major updates for both games later in the year. For Red Dead, that means “exciting new extensions and augmentations to an existing role.” In GTA, they’re promising “the biggest ever update for GTA Online, featuring our latest take on Heists in an entirely new location.” And that’s basically all the announcement mentions. The important thing to know, ultimately, is that Rockstar is still very much working on both games. Maybe know people in Red Dead Online will stop dressing as clowns. I sure hope not.
