Where to Find Captive Cord for Essence of Failure Mission in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep?

To find the Captive Cord weapon part for the Destiny 2 Essence of Failure quest, you’ll have to make your way to the Lunar Battlegrounds. Start from the Sorrow’s Harbor fast travel point, then keep going right and stick to the walls on the right as much as possible. You’ll come across a short, red bridge. Cross it and follow the road until you see a grand, red gateway. Cross it, and you’ll be in the Lunar Battlegrounds.

Once you cross into Lunar Battlegrounds, gun it straight forward and across the long, red bridge, then down to the ground. Take the first road heading to the right and forward. When you go through the ravine, you’ll come across two buildings, one of which has a huge antenna on top. Hop up to the roof, and carefully go around the antenna, paying special attention to its base. The Captive Cord is in one of the corners.

From there, you can complete the other two steps at your leisure. Once you’re done, simply visit the Lectern of Enchantment to collect your Arc Logic Auto Rifle. And, that’s all there is to it.
