Challenging Vex are a crucial part of the Impossible Task quest in Destiny 2 Season of Dawn, specifically, the step called Vex Cores Collected. You have to find and kill Challenging Vex in order to collect 25 Vex Cores during the Destiny 2 Impossible Task mission. Fortunately, there’s basically two places where you can grind these cores without too much fuss. Where to Find Challenging Vex for An Impossible Task Quest Vex Cores Collected Step in Destiny 2?
To find the Challenging Vex to complete the Vex Cores Collected step in the Impossible Task quest in Destiny 2 Season of Dawn, the best locations to go looking in are on Nessus. Specifically, the The Orrery Lost Sector in Artifact’s Edge and the Public Event in Hallows. Both of these activities have what counts as Challenging Vex from which you can farm the Vex Cores. All you have to do is repeat these two until you have a total of 25 which are necessary to complete this step.
Nessus is a good place to complete the other step, too, where you have to score Precision Kills on Vex combatants to obtain Radiolarian fluid. No matter what, though, you are going to be engaging in some amount of grinding. But, this being Destiny, I would imagine you’re already well used to such a thing. At least you can pretty much complete the whole thing on only one planet; there’s no need to keep hopping across several locations.
