Where to Find Beavers in RDR2?

To find beavers in Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to look for bodies of water that are surrounded with wooded areas. And, of course, not all bodies of water will suffice. More often than not, beavers will appear near rivers, rather than standing bodies of water. The best way to kill them, according to the compendium entry, is the varmint rifle. Below, you’ll find a map of beaver locations in RDR2. We’re also going to list the locations by name to help you more.

The compendium says that you can find beavers along the Kamassa River in Roanoke. This is indeed the case. They commonly spawn on the river banks south of Elysium Pool and Butcher Creek, west of Van Horn Trading Post. They also spawn in the far southeast, on the bank of Lannahechee River. Specifically, you can find beavers on the islands east of Shady Belle, which is east of Bolger Glade and Braithwaite Manor.

RDR2 beavers also spawn on the complete opposite end of the map, in the west of Ambarino. Look for them in the north of Lake Isabelle, Where Spider Gorge and Deadboot Creek flow into the lake. Another location is Lake Owanjila, west of the town of Strawberry. Most commonly, they’ll appear on the east, south, and west shores of the lake. The final location is along the Upper Montana River, southwest of Strawberry.

Where to Find RDR2 Legendary Beaver Location?

To find the Legendary Beaver in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’re gonna have to go way east, in New Hanover. The legendary varmint can be found on the east bank of Kamassa River, south of Elysian pool and Butcher Creek. Just go to the Van Horn Trading Post (where one of the fence vendors are), and head west. You’ll likely have to track it down using clues, like you would the legendary ram or legendary buck. But, we’ll cover that in another guide.
