Where to Find Legendary Big Horn Ram RDR2 Animal Location – How to Solve Clues?

To find the Legendary Big Horn Ram in Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to find and solve the first clue, or the first part of the trail, if you will. You can find the first Legendary Ram clue just north of Cattail Pond, northwest and across the river from the town of Valentine. Use your cowboy senses to find the clue more easily. As you walk closer, you’ll notice that your first clue is, in fact, a pile of legendary ram dung. Use this clue to track the animal. As you go across the river, the trail will slowly disappear, but don’t worry. Just keep going in that direction.

As you keep moving forward, keep using your special senses to spot the next clue more easily. Your goal is a tree, that kinda stands out from the rest. This is a legendary ram rub, as it were. Once you inspect the tree that the ram rubbed on, you’ll get another trail to track. Again, the trail will disappear after a while. And, once again, all you have to do is keep going in the same direction, around the east side of the lake, and to the south. Keep your witcher senses on to spot the next clue.

The use of your heightened senses will be really necessary to find the third and final clue. It’s really difficult to spot, because it’s a little tuft of white fur on the ground. This third clue will be the final one that you get. Just keep following the trail that the fur gives you.

Once again, even though the trail will vanish as you keep going. Trust your gut and proceed carefully onward. Keep your eye out towards the south, on the ledge in front of you. That’s where the Legendary Big Horn Ram showed up for us. And, if I’m being honest, it looks really magnificent and majestic. So, of course, your next task is to kill it dead ASAP.

How to Kill RDR2 Big Horn Ram Legendary Animal?

To kill the Big Horn Ram Legendary Animal in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll need to use either poison arrows, or any kind of rifle. From what we can tell, either does the job just fine. We’ve killed the RDR2 Legendary Big Horn Ram with a rifle without any particular trouble. However, the poison arrows don’t make as much noise, and it pretty much allows you to potentially land a one-shot kill.

One thing to keep in mind that it’s best to immediately approach the body of the Big Horn Ram and skin it. You can then take it to a trapper to sell it (for more info on the trapper, check out our Legendary Bear Pelt – Trapper Locations guide). If you neglect to do so and just go your way, the trapper and Fence will still get the legendary skin in their inventory. The difference is that you can’t sell the skin to the trapper, which will leave you without $45. So, be sure to skin that legendary ram.
