Destiny 2 Europa Map has been the matter of discussion among Guardians, as it is the first new major map we’ve seen in the game for a while. People want to know what there is to know about the Europa Map in Destiny 2, as well as what is in store for they reach Jupiter’s icy moon. Well, Bungie has been pretty tight-lipped so far, but we can scrounge up something. We’ll present what we know in our Europa Map Destiny 2 guide.

Destiny 2 Europa Map in Beyond Light Expansion DLC

The Europa map in Destiny 2 Beyond Light is the location that most of the upcoming content is going to take place on. At least, one assumes so. As you can see in the image below, the Destiny 2 Europa map is divided into five sections: Eventide Ruins, Asterion Abyss, Cadmus Ridge, Charon’s Crossing, and Beyond. Each of them invokes a sense of doom, and that’s for good reason. There’s something very sinister going on. Of course, it is up to you to discover the secrets of Europa.

Now, we’ve covered the five regions of Jupiter’s moon in a previous article, but let’s refresh your memory. Eventide Ruins houses the remains of Clovis Bray’s colony. Once upon a time, it had thousands of settlers, but now, not so much. Asterion Abyss features the highest tip of some god-forsaken Vex structures buried deep in Europa’s ice.

In Cadmus Ridge, you’ll find another vestige of the Bray colonization effort. Specifically, this is the last known location of the Bray Exoscience facility. As for Charon’s Crossing, that’s where Europa’s communication center is, and also where Variks’s distress call came from. Lastly, the Beyond, well… I’m not going to reveal too much about that. Here’s one sentence: “An old friend awaits us in this clearing that overlooks the conflict between Light and Dark.”

So, that’s what we know about the Europa Map in Destiny 2 so far. Stay tuned for further coverage as more info becomes available. And, if you’re struggling with the new mission added in the most recent update, check out our Mars Quest – Helsom Memorial Quest – Signal Intercepted guide.
