Legendary bear pelt is a rare skin in Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s a crafting item you can get by hunting down and skinning a legendary bear, and you can use it to make a unique clothing item. For that, you’ll need to find a trapper. There’s only one of those in the game, and he moves around a lot. How to use legendary bear pelt in RDR2?
You’ll get this rare skin when you kill one of the legendary animals – namely, the bear. Once you’ve got it, though, you might be confused about how to use it. The best way would be to fashion it into a unique clothing item. You’ll need the help of a trapper for this – he’s the only person who can do it.
In order to craft the clothes, you’ll first have to sell him the pelt. It’s a bit counterintuitive, but trust us – sell the pelt, and you’ll be able to buy the bear head hat, a unique headgear item.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Trapper
The trapper is based in Saint Denis. You might need to visit him there before he starts showing up in the wilderness – we’re not sure. After you’ve talked to him in the southeast of the city, at the marketplace, you’ll be able to find him at four places across the frontier.
The first location is north of Saint Denis, west of Elysian Pond, just before the railroad intersection. The next one is east of Strawberry, before the Dakota River. There’s also one on the western edge of the map, west of the Big Valley. The final one is west of Thieves’ Landing, along the river.
