Rockstar have announced that the pre-loads for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 are now live. Only on the Rockstar Games Launcher, of course, and only if you’ve pre-ordered the game already. There’s only a few simple steps to follow to begin the pre-loading process, so we’re gonna go over that, in case you’re not sure how to do it.
How to Pre-Load Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC?
To pre-load the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, you first have to have the game pre-ordered. When and if you do, go ahead and open your Rockstar Games Launcher. Find Red Dead Redemption in your library, and simply click the big ole Pre-Load button. And, that’s it, that’s the whole process; at least, according to the official Rockstar Twitter. So, yeah, just follow these steps and you’ll be one step closer to playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC than everybody else. And I know that most of you are impatient to start exploring that wild, wild frontier.
I don’t say this lightly, but there are plenty reasons to pre-order RDR2 on PC. The pre-order bonuses are pretty incredible, including two free Rockstar games from a select list, a bunch of in-game items, and more. If you want more details on that, check out our article on Red Dead Redemption 2 PC pre-order bonuses. And, while you’re at it, you should also check out our article on Red Dead Redemption 2 PC system requirements, if you’re not sure whether your rig can run the game properly. Interestingly enough, it can even run on Windows 7.
The PC version o RDR 2 is coming out on Tuesday, November 5th. Yes, my friends, that’s now less than a week away. If you encounter any headaches while playing, then be sure to visit our long list of Red Dead Redemption 2 guides. There will be more coming for PC specifically, I’m pretty sure.
